We had a slight problem with the passenger side outer drive chain which de-railed and wrapped around the front axle and tensioner, then snapped leaving us with only the drivers side power on the land parts for the last 3/4 of the course. I usually bring the chain breaker and 6" of chain , but this year it was left out having no need of it for the last ten years , so I guess we won't be doing that again!
The water drive had no problem since the prop runs off a seprate chain on the central shaft and the land drive connects off the 2 outer shafts. But other than that and the pit crew (me) having touble keeping up with the craft it was a good challenge.
