The crafts must be human powered and only the pilots and pit crew may propel it .
Pilots and pit crew may not switch places .
The craft must work on land and water .
It must not apear to be sinking in the water (or mud) or it may risk being rescued by the officials , if not saved you must remove it from the depths .
It may only be eight feet wide , under thirteen feet high and as long as you wish .
All repair nessities must be carried on the craft .
The craft must display a slow moving vehicle sign .
The craft must display the provided team numbers .
All pilots must have and use USCG life preservers .
Team members must attend some important meetings .
The machine must pass a brake test and safety inspection .
Each team must give a sacerifical member to be a judge .
All pilots must be able to exit the craft or be easily rescued during a sinking episode .
All entrants must sign a waiver , stating their life is worthless and the sponsors won't be sued by reletives upset by your vegitative state or demise caused by enthusiastic partisipation in the chalange .
No inbibing of intoxicants .
It must not be harmful to others , itself or anything else .
Cheating is a privelege , not a right .
